Would Jesus get a tattoo? Of course he would. Right on his upper left bicep. It would say MOM.. come on. How can we really tell.. Tattoes are not cultic in nature, they are cultural phenomenons. Trends, fads, whatever..
Would you dishonor the temple of God by eating too much? Too little? Not getting enough exercise? Getting too much exercise? Smoking? Drinking coffee or soda? Drinking strawberry cordial because it would color your teeth? How about farting? When you fart do you dishonor God? What if you don’t fart, but hold it in, is it then a sin?
See my point.. there are many things that are not healthy to the body, but we do it all the time.
And yes, we are talking about the Old Testament laws (that Jesus didn’t quote).
And then I would also like to add that to live a godly life doesn’t mean to be persecuted. That is up to God to decide. Rain will fall on the good and the bad.
