What do People Say About Tattoos in Biblical Perpective?

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
“If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Cor. 3:16-17).
How would you feel if you built a beautiful temple to God, a monument that you wanted to celebrated His goodness to you and His great mercy to all of His creations, and then someone came along with a can of spray paint and defaced it with their own “artwork”. Somehow, I don’t think that you would be pleased with the person that did it. I think that God feels much the same way about us putting tattoos on our bodies. I don’t think that He likes it very much. I don’t think that He will condemn someone simply because they get a tattoo, but I don’t think that they please Him.
Depends on whom you ask. If you ask the conservative branch of Christianity, they will point out that tattoos are pagan in origen and specificly pointed toward spirit possession and worship of other deities. Also they will point out that the Jews were forbidden by God to mark themselves with tattoos because of this.
Then again, if you ask the modern church movement Christian/what some call the Liberal side of the family, they will tell you it doesn’t matter as long as you are not worshipping satan with it.

feel that Tattoos are against the Holy Bible. It symbolies Satanic culture. The Holy Bible says keep your boby pure and do not have any man made mark on them. The only mark which the Holy Bible mentions is the mark which was put on the forehead of Cain after he killed is brother Abel to keep him away from mankind and also that no man should harm him.
Overall Biblically Tattoos are a symbol of acceptance of Satanism and its culture.
