The “art” of tattoos

I know people who put a lot of thought and even prayer into a tattoo before getting it. To say the “grand majority” of anything gives the assumption that you know the heart of a grand majority of people. I am not saying that doesn’t happen, but when you know people who are truly into the “art” of tattoos, you will find it is quite serious to them and not just a “fashion” statement.
I know more people who worry about looking cool and spending a lot of money on clothing to achieve that look. This whole “origins are pagan” thing gets carried too far. My running shoes probably have a pagan origin, my shorts, shirts etc probably have pagan origins. So under you expressed thoughts here, my clothing apparel should be under the same scrutiny as tattoos.
but of course, everyone wears clothing so lets not look to closely at that.
