Tear tattoo
I love the meanings of tattoos. I was at work today & this guy, maybe 25, tops, came on my line & had 2 tear drops by his eye. I asked the meaning & he said he killed 2 men. Was that a joke? Doesn’t it have to be since he’s not in jail?
No i don’t think it’s a joke. Teardrop tattoos are often seen on people who wish to show remorse and/or sorrow at having taken the life of another or who have lost a loved one from their own life. Not all people who kill or accidentally cause the death of someone are sent to jail.
I’ve known a few people that got teardrops to remember someone that’s died (pretty sure they didn’t kill them), but generally the accepted meaning is that you’ve killed someone. Personally, lying or not, I think he’s a jackass. He’s either dumb enough to advertise that he’s a murderer, or he’s very poor at making jokes.
But lots of people kill people and don’t go to jail. The very lucky, the very crafty, those that kill in self defense, people in the military, etc.
