My biggest problem with tattoos
The truth of the matter is that tattoos are pagan in nature and had an original purpose of identification and worship of pagan gods. Does that make tattoos inherently evil? Not necessarily, as the same thing can be said about ear rings, or most holidays that we celebrate. I’m sure the same can be said about many other things that we consider commonplace and usually don’t give a second thought to these days.
However, I will say that my biggest problem with tattoos is that the grand majority of people who get them do so for the purpose of looking “cool” and don’t give much forethought to the fact that they are permanently scarring their bodies. This is vanity and is wrong. That doesn’t mean that a tattoos are wrong, but that mens hearts are wrong.
