Is it breaking copyright laws?

Is it breaking copyright laws or anything to get a band’s logo (i.e. Green Day’s heart grenade, or HIM’s heartagram) tattooed on your body?
technically yes. will they sue you? who knows. Disney tried to make it illegal for people to get disney tattoos, but I believe they failed, although it doesnt stop them from harrassing people.. you may ask green day for permission..

I asked anoter person,he gived me different answer:

no, because you are not making money by doing this. And as lond as you don’t go showing the tat off around the lawyers for either Green Day or HIM you shouldn’t have a problem…
