Have tattoos always been associated with pagans? Sure you could be right in saying that this is true, because pagan people invented it. Pagans today (New-agers) use it for their cultic practices. However tattoos today have a different and laid back meaning and they are not associated with ancient pagan rituals. Some like to get the MOM tattoo, some like the name of their wife, girlfriend, dog, child or whatever.. some like Chinese symbols and so on. Its a cultural fad that really has no other meaning than that.

Pagan rituals defile the body, sure. But getting a MOM tattoo is not a part and never has been a part of a pagan ritual.

People have been saying for the last hundreds of years that we are living in the end times. Funny thing is that you are practically using the same words as your forefathers. There is nothing new under the table in this regard.

In regards to 2 Tim 3:12, I have this to say: Read the verse in context. Persecution means something entirely else than what you take it to mean. It is important to take into perspective the situation in which the author and recipient was in.
