Christian and tattoo

If you claim to be a Christian, yet feel compelled to get a tattoo, you have to ask yourself, which spirit controls you? Is it the Spirit of God, or the spirit of the world?
Saying that the Bible isn’t culturally relevant on this subject is ignorance of Scripture and history.
Tattoos have been around for millennia, and have ALWAYS been associated with pagans, and forbidden by the people of God. Why is this important? Well, man is made in God’s image, and satan hates this. Therefore all pagan rituals defile the body, tribal ritualistic sex, cutting of the flesh, tattoos, piercings, scarification, etc.
We, on the other hand are to honor the body, yes through godly food and exercise, proper hygiene, godly sex, proper rest, godly words and thoughts, etc.
Right now we are witnessing a great falling away, the world is coming into the “church” instead of the other way round, the spirit of the world with all it’s pagan practices is flourishing in the so called “church.” But at the same time, in these last days, God is calling out for Himself a body of believers that are being drawn to holiness, to reject this world and all it’s lies of flesh, fashion, fornication, & filth.
People have very strong opinions on all these topics, and many of them sound reasonable, however God’s Word is eternal and burns up the opinions of man.
oh.. and by the way…
“Yea, and ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
the Greek word in the original for “ALL” … guess what? it means ALL !
